WOW!!! What an incredible evening Sunbeams had at Pudsey Rocks at Wembley Arena with our beautiful Connie and her amazing family! They are all truly inspiring. We all feel very privileged to be part of their lives and all the other wonderful families who come to Sunbeams Music Trust.

BBC Children In Need 2012
Sunbeams feature on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme
October 2012
In October we were so thrilled to welcome BBC reporter Tom Feilden and photographer Paul Kerley from Radio 4 to one of our Children in Need funded sessions in Kendal, where they experienced our wonderful children singing and signing. There was not a dry eye in the house, and I think they were both quite overcome by the whole experience. The whole feature was broadcast on the Today programme, and they really did the children proud with a wonderful slideshow production. Little Lucy was quite the star, as the feature was on the front page of the BBC News website for quite some time!
Thank you to Paul and Tom!
Blue Peter Appeal
Sunbeams help launch 2012 Blue Peter Appeal for Children In Need
October 2012
Sunbeams provide therapeutic music sessions free of charge, which means that funding must be found to support all our projects. One of these sources is the wonderful Children In Need, who help to support some of our children’s sessions.
This year Blue Peter decided to raise money for Children In Need through their annual appeal, and they asked Sunbeams to feature on the Launch programme!
They wanted to focus in on one family, so they visited the lovely Yasmin and her family before coming to the session, where they spent the whole morning filming and interviewing. It was wonderful for the children to meet Helen Skelton, (who really got stuck in and joined in with the session!), and Annie even bagged herself a Blue Peter badge!
We all adore Yasmin at Sunbeams, and her family wanted to share their story with the rest of the world. So thank you to Michelle, Annie and the whole family for agreeing to be on the programme.
