Come to the Sunbeams Party!

Annie Mawson’s Sunbeams Music Trust are thrilled to welcome everyone to join them at their musical extravaganza, their Annual ‘Party Time at Sunbeams’. It will take place within the grounds of the Sunbeams Music Centre, Stoller House, Redhills, Penrith on Sunday 8th June between 2pm until 6pm.

This is an occasion not to be missed with free entry, although donations are very welcome. Whatever your age, Sunbeams promise a wonderful community event for all the family!!!

This fabulous afternoon taking place outside with marquees will feature live music from Sunbeams very own Musicians ‘Wrong Direction’ led by Founder and CEO Annie Mawson MBE MRSM and resident Musician, Will Harris.

The event also incorporates amazing music with various music genres including the Deatbeats who are all about the Beats! with Samba drums, a punk/pirate attitude and some serious shapes to pull, this group with a flair for the theatrics will definitely bring the excitement of a live percussion band with interactive visual theatrics street entertainment to the afternoon.

The occasion also includes performances from the Middle Eden Voices Choir, a local community choir from the Eden Valley and finally Jed’s Disco. There will also be a Cake Stall, Butties, Ice-creams, Raffle and Games for all the family with special appearances from Kevin the amazing Magician and Peppa Pig.  There will be hot drinks and a licensed Bar including beer kindly donated by Tirril Brewery.  Sunbeams would like to sincerely thank JLE Installations Ltd Electrical Contractors for their support and to all of the Performers who have kindly given their services free of charge. It is with such wonderful community spirit from all that everyone can enjoy the Sunbeams Party.

This is a special occasion which marks the establishment of Sunbeams celebrating its 33rd Year Anniversary.   Annie said ‘We can’t wait to welcome all our beneficiaries, their families and the community to Sunbeams. Whether you’ve visited before or this is your first time we want to welcome you all to this special day. It is with the magnificent support and kindness of our Cumbrian community that have enabled our 8 specialist Musicians to deliver Community Music Therapy to local disabled and disadvantaged children and adults whilst also supporting families and carers.  EVERYONE is welcome, do come and revel in music, fun and laughter.’
